COURSES

CDE offers both basic and advanced courses.  Each of the courses provides a comprehensive learning experience for the basic and advanced participants.  The courses are also designed to provide both finance and program staff with necessary exposure and practice to system features related to their expected IDIS duties and responsibilities.  These courses have proven to be effective at imparting a successful training/learning experience for workshop participants.

Basic Course

Objective: Develop fundamental skills necessary to navigate and manage IDIS

Advance Course

Objective: Expand upon basic knowledge and learn techniques/ methods to more fully utilize IDIS to manage program information.

• Advance Assessment Test
• Reporting on Multi-Year Activities
• Completing An Activity Before Final Draw
• Copying and Moving Activities
• Amending Projects &  Reprogramming Funds
• Understanding Receipt Processing
• Using Prior Year Subfunds and Subgrants
• Customizing reports using Microstrategy
• Understanding CAPER and financial reports
